How is psychological therapy different from psychotherapy?▼
Psychotherapy is a long-term, structured process conducted in a specific approach by a psychotherapist who has completed certification training. Psychological therapy is usually shorter and more focused on a specific difficulty - emotional regulation, behaviour, adapting to change.
Who is psychological therapy for?▼
For children, young people and adults. With children, the psychologist works through play, drawing and elements of art therapy; with teenagers and adults - through conversation, exercises and work between sessions.
How often do sessions take place?▼
Most often once a week or every two weeks, for 50 minutes. You agree on the frequency at the start, and it can be changed along the way.
How much does a session cost?▼
From 200 PLN for 50 minutes. When working with a child, some of the meetings are consultations with the parents - the therapist decides on their number together with you.
