Questions from students
I'm going to a psychologist for the first time. What should I expect?▼
The first conversation is mostly questions about what brings you here and what your everyday life looks like. You don't need a ready-made diagnosis or a prepared introduction; it is enough to say in your own words what is difficult.
Is the free consultation already therapy?▼
No, it is about 15 minutes to understand your needs and choose a specialist. The actual work begins at the first full appointment, which you book at the student price.
What do students most often come to us with?▼
Most often it is exam stress, anxiety, low mood, loneliness after moving to the Tricity, and difficulties with concentration and organisation, including in the context of ADHD. Each of these is reason enough to come.
How much will I pay for further appointments?▼
Further sessions are charged at standard prices, i.e. 200 PLN for a psychological consultation and 220 PLN for other services. You and your specialist agree the scope and frequency at the very first appointment.
