Couples therapy in Gdynia – when to come?
Most couples don't come to us after one row, but after a long period in which something has been slowly fading. First the time for talking disappears, then the patience, until all that's left is either a tense silence or the same arguments on repeat – about money, the house, the children, or a phone at the dinner table. On top of that come shifts, on-call rotas, and an endless “we'll talk later” that never arrives. If you feel you're drifting apart even though you still care about each other, that's a good moment to come.
In session, the therapist is an impartial guide: they don't decide who's right and don't take either side. They help you hear what's really behind a grievance, and talk about needs instead of accusations. You learn to recognise the moment a conversation turns into a fight, and to turn back before it does. We work with couples in crisis, after infidelity, in separation, before a wedding or before having a child, as well as with couples who simply want to get on better before things get really bad.
A couples therapy session lasts 50 minutes. You usually meet every one or two weeks, at our office in central Gdynia at 10 Lutego 7/103, a few minutes from Gdynia Główna station, or online if it's hard to match two schedules. Easy to reach from Orłowo, Redłowo, Karwiny, as well as from Sopot, Rumia and Reda. You can start with a free initial visit, where you'll meet the therapist and decide together.
