Integrative psychotherapy
Integrative psychotherapy in the Tricity - methods matched to the person, not the other way round. It combines different therapeutic approaches. 50-minute sessions.
About this service
Integrative psychotherapy does not stick to one school - it deliberately combines methods from different approaches (including cognitive behavioural, psychodynamic, humanistic and solution-focused therapy) and matches them to the specific person and what they come with. This makes the therapy flexible: where specific tools for the here and now are needed, we draw on short-term approaches; where deeper patterns need to be understood - on insight-oriented work. This approach works well across a wide range of difficulties: anxiety, depression, crises, burnout, relationship difficulties and building self-worth. Sessions last 50 minutes, in person in Gdańsk and Gdynia and online.
Frequently asked questions
What does integrative psychotherapy involve?▼
Deliberately combining methods from different approaches and matching them to the specific person and their difficulties, instead of sticking to one school.
Does that mean the therapist doesn't have one method?▼
An integrative therapist has solid training in several approaches and deliberately chooses techniques to suit you and your goals - that is a strength, not a lack of method.
Who is the integrative approach for?▼
For most people and difficulties - from anxiety and depression to crises and work on relationships. The flexibility of the approach makes it possible to match therapy to many different needs.
How long does integrative therapy take?▼
Depending on the goals - from short-term work to a longer process. You and the therapist agree on the direction together at the start.
