Support through the experience of cancer
Diagnosis, treatment and life after treatment can bring fear, sadness, anger or a sense of loneliness. Loved ones also face uncertainty and the demands of caring for someone. A support group offers space for different emotions, talking about needs and listening to people with similar experiences.
We are planning meetings focused on the emotional side of cancer: coping with tension, communicating with loved ones, asking for help and adjusting to changes in everyday life. You do not have to share your whole story or speak before you feel ready.
We are currently collecting registrations for the waiting list. During an initial conversation, we will discuss your circumstances and whether the group is suitable for you. We will confirm the group composition, facilitator, location or online format, schedule and cost before the meetings begin. Joining the waiting list does not commit you to taking part.
The group provides psychological support. It does not replace cancer treatment, medical consultations or individual psychological support when needed.
