We are looking for a couples therapist – EFT, Gottman or a systemic approach to working with couples and married couples.

About the position

We are looking for a psychotherapist specialising in couples and marriage therapy. Ideal candidates have training in EFT (Emotionally Focused Therapy), the Gottman Method or a systemic approach, and experience working with couples in crisis.

from 100 PLN per session

Flexible – afternoons + weekends

Location

Gdańsk (Piekarnicza, Wajdeloty, Bergiela) / Gdynia (10 Lutego)

Responsibilities

  • Providing couples and marriage therapy
  • Assessing relationship difficulties and planning therapy
  • Working with relationship crises, infidelity and emotional distance
  • Improving communication and rebuilding closeness in the relationship
  • Couples therapy in the context of divorce or separation
  • Working with the partners' individual therapists

Requirements

  • Completed or advanced psychotherapy training
  • A specialisation or training in couples therapy (EFT, Gottman or systemic)
  • Experience providing couples therapy (at least 2 years)
  • The ability to work with strong emotions and conflict in the therapy room
  • Regular supervision

Nice to have

  • EFT certification (Polish EFT Centre or ICEEFT)
  • Gottman Method training (Level 1-3)
  • Experience of couples therapy in the context of ADHD
  • Training in sex therapy for couples
  • Knowledge of English
