We are looking for an SI therapist to assess and treat sensory processing disorders in children.

About the position

We are looking for a sensory integration (SI) therapist to work with children with sensory processing disorders. It is one of the most sought-after specialisations in work with children – demand for SI assessment and therapy is growing.

from 100 PLN per appointment

Flexible – afternoons + weekends

Location

Gdańsk (Piekarnicza, Wajdeloty, Bergiela) / Gdynia (10 Lutego)

Responsibilities

  • Assessing sensory integration processes (clinical observation, TSFI, SPM)
  • Providing individual sensory integration therapy
  • Developing therapy programmes (sensory diet)
  • Consultations with parents – recommendations for work at home
  • Working with child psychologists, speech and language therapists and educators
  • Keeping therapy records

Requirements

  • A university degree (physiotherapy, special education, psychology or a related field)
  • Completed training in sensory integration assessment and therapy (levels I and II)
  • Experience working with children with SI disorders
  • The ability to build rapport with children

Nice to have

  • SI therapist certification (PSTIS or equivalent)
  • Experience with children with ASD and ADHD
  • Training in hand therapy
  • Training in bilateral integration (BI)
  • Experience working in an interdisciplinary team
