We are looking for a behavioural therapist (ABA) to work with children with autism and behavioural disorders.

About the position

We are looking for a behavioural therapist (applied behaviour analysis – ABA) to work with children on the autism spectrum and with other behavioural disorders. It is one of the fastest-growing specialisations in Poland, owing to the rising number of ASD diagnoses.

from 100 PLN per appointment

Flexible – afternoons + weekends

Location

Gdańsk (Piekarnicza, Wajdeloty, Bergiela) / Gdynia (10 Lutego)

Responsibilities

  • Providing behavioural therapy (ABA) for children with autism
  • Developing individual therapy programmes
  • Working on communication, social skills and independence
  • Reducing challenging behaviour with evidence-based methods
  • Training parents in behavioural techniques
  • Working with the assessment team and psychologists

Requirements

  • A university degree (psychology, special education or a related field)
  • Training in applied behaviour analysis (ABA)
  • Experience working with children with ASD (at least 1 year)
  • Patience, consistency and the ability to work with challenging behaviour

Nice to have

  • BCBA, BCaBA or PLTB certification (Polish Society of Behavioural Therapy)
  • Experience in functional behaviour assessment
  • VB-MAPP or ABLLS-R training
  • Experience running social skills training (TUS)
  • Experience with children with ADHD and behavioural difficulties
