We are looking for a trauma specialist – EMDR, SE or other approaches to working with traumatic experiences.

About the position

We are looking for a psychologist or psychotherapist specialising in trauma work. Ideal candidates have training in trauma-focused methods (EMDR, Somatic Experiencing, NET) and experience working with people who have been through traumatic experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnosing post-traumatic disorders (PTSD, C-PTSD, dissociation)
  • Running trauma therapy using evidence-based methods (EMDR, SE, CPT)
  • Working with people who have experienced violence, accidents or relational trauma
  • Providing emotional stabilisation for patients in crisis
  • Working with a team of psychologists and psychiatrists
  • Keeping clinical records

Requirements

  • A university degree in psychology (master's degree)
  • Completed training in trauma-focused methods (EMDR, SE, NET or CPT)
  • Experience in clinical work with trauma survivors (min. 2 years)
  • Ability to work with intense emotions and patients' difficult experiences
  • Regular supervision

Nice to have

  • An EMDR Europe or EMDR Polska certificate
  • Training in Somatic Experiencing
  • Experience with childhood / early-childhood trauma
  • Training in schema therapy or DBT
  • Experience in crisis intervention
