Psychotherapist – Schema Therapy

We are looking for a schema therapist (Schema Therapy) to work with personality disorders and chronic patterns.

About the position

We are looking for a psychotherapist specialising in schema therapy (Schema Therapy). It is one of the most effective approaches to personality disorders, chronic depression and deeply rooted emotional patterns – and demand for it in Poland is growing.

Salary

from 100 PLN per session

Schedule

Flexible – min. 2 days a week

Location

Gdańsk (Piekarnicza, Wajdeloty, Bergiela) / Gdynia (10 Lutego)

Responsibilities

  • Running schema therapy (individual, optionally group)
  • Identifying early maladaptive schemas
  • Working with schema modes (cognitive, experiential and behavioural techniques)
  • Reparenting and inner-child work
  • Working with personality disorders (borderline, narcissistic, avoidant)
  • Keeping clinical records

Requirements

  • Completed schema therapy training (Instytut Terapii Schematu or equivalent)
  • Foundational psychotherapy training (CBT, integrative or psychodynamic)
  • Experience running schema therapy (min. 1 year)
  • Regular supervision

Nice to have

  • A schema therapist certificate (ISST)
  • Experience with eating disorders
  • Training in schema therapy for couples
  • Knowledge of English
