About the position

We are looking for a psychoanalytic psychotherapist or psychoanalyst to run intensive, long-term therapy. Psychoanalysis offers the deepest form of work on personality – we are looking for people with experience in the classical Freudian approach or object relations.

from 120 PLN per session

Schedule

Flexible – min. 2 days a week

Location

Gdańsk (Piekarnicza, Wajdeloty, Bergiela) / Gdynia (10 Lutego)

Responsibilities

  • Running psychoanalytic psychotherapy (2-3 sessions a week)
  • Analysing transference, countertransference and free association
  • Working with severe personality disorders and chronic depression
  • Working with patients with a complex psychic structure
  • Keeping clinical records
  • Psychoanalytic supervision

Requirements

  • Completed or advanced psychoanalytic training (PTP, PTPP or equivalent)
  • Your own personal analysis (required)
  • Experience running psychoanalytic therapy (min. 3 years)
  • Regular psychoanalytic supervision

Nice to have

  • Membership of PTP or PTPP
  • Experience with borderline patients (Kernberg, Clarkin)
  • Training in relational psychoanalysis
  • Experience working with couples from a psychoanalytic perspective
