We are looking for a DBT therapist – dialectical behaviour therapy, emotion regulation, borderline personality disorder.

About the position

We are looking for a DBT (Dialectical Behaviour Therapy) psychotherapist to work with patients with borderline personality disorder, chronic suicidality, self-harm and emotional dysregulation. DBT combines CBT with mindfulness and skills training.

from 100 PLN per session

Flexible – min. 2 days a week

Location

Gdańsk (Piekarnicza, Wajdeloty, Bergiela) / Gdynia (10 Lutego)

Responsibilities

  • Running individual DBT therapy
  • Running a DBT skills-training group
  • Working with emotional dysregulation, self-harm and suicidal ideation
  • Telephone crisis coaching (a DBT component)
  • Taking part in the DBT consultation team
  • Keeping clinical records

Requirements

  • Completed DBT training (intensive or foundational)
  • Foundational psychotherapy training (CBT)
  • Experience working with borderline or crisis patients
  • Willingness to work within a DBT team (consultation, coaching)

Nice to have

  • A Linehan Board of Certification credential
  • Experience with eating disorders (DBT-E)
  • Training in DBT for adolescents (DBT-A)
  • Experience working in a hospital or psychiatric ward
