We are looking for a sports psychologist to work with athletes – mental training and coping with pre-competition stress.

About the position

We are looking for a sports psychologist to run consultations and mental training with athletes. We offer the opportunity to build this specialisation within our centre, with access to offices and marketing support.

from 100 PLN per session

Flexible – afternoons + weekends

Location

Gdańsk (Piekarnicza, Wajdeloty, Bergiela) / Gdynia (10 Lutego)

Responsibilities

  • Individual consultations with athletes (pre-competition stress, motivation, concentration)
  • Running mental training and visualisation techniques
  • Working with sports teams (team building, communication)
  • Psychological support through injuries and the return to sport
  • Working with athlete burnout and the end of a sporting career
  • Working with coaches and coaching staff

Requirements

  • A university degree in psychology (master's degree)
  • Training in sports psychology (postgraduate studies or certification courses)
  • Experience working with athletes
  • Knowledge of mental training and relaxation techniques
  • Energy, drive and a passion for sport

Nice to have

  • PTP (Polish Psychological Association) Sports Psychologist certificate (class I or II)
  • Your own sporting experience
  • Experience with children and teenagers who do sport
  • Training in CBT or ACT
  • Contacts with sports clubs in the Tricity
