We are looking for a forensic psychologist to prepare expert opinions in family, custody and criminal cases.

About the position

We are looking for a psychologist with experience in preparing opinions for the courts – divorce, custody and criminal cases, and assessments of the credibility of testimony and of parenting capacity. We offer a steady flow of commissions from law firms and courts.

Responsibilities

  • Preparing psychological opinions for the courts
  • Assessing parenting capacity in custody cases
  • Psychological assessment in divorce and maintenance cases
  • Assessing the credibility of testimony given by witnesses and victims
  • Expert opinions in criminal cases (sanity, influence on behaviour)
  • Conducting diagnostic interviews and psychological testing
  • Preparing written opinions and reports

Requirements

  • A university degree in psychology (master's degree)
  • Experience in psychological assessment and preparing expert opinions (at least 3 years)
  • Knowledge of court procedures and the formal requirements for opinions
  • The ability to prepare professional psychological opinions
  • Reliability, objectivity and professional ethics

Nice to have

  • Status as a court expert on a regional court's list
  • Postgraduate studies in forensic psychology
  • A PTP (Polish Psychological Association) recommendation for court experts
  • Experience in an OZSS (a team of court specialists that prepares expert opinions)
  • Experience assessing children in the context of custody cases
