We are looking for a perinatal psychologist – working with women during pregnancy, after giving birth and after pregnancy loss.

About the position

We are looking for a psychologist specialising in perinatal psychology – supporting women during pregnancy and after giving birth, women with postnatal depression or fear of childbirth, women who have lost a pregnancy, and women building a bond with their baby.

from 100 PLN per appointment

Gdańsk (Piekarnicza, Wajdeloty, Bergiela) / Gdynia (10 Lutego)

Responsibilities

  • Psychological consultations for women during pregnancy and after giving birth
  • Assessment and therapy of postnatal depression and postnatal anxiety
  • Support after pregnancy loss, miscarriage and stillbirth
  • Work on prenatal and postnatal attachment (bonding)
  • Preparing for birth – working with anxiety and expectations
  • Psychoeducation and support for partners

Requirements

  • A university degree in psychology (master's degree)
  • Training in perinatal psychology or a related field
  • Experience working with women in crisis during pregnancy or after giving birth
  • Empathy, sensitivity and the ability to work with loss

Nice to have

  • A perinatal psychologist certificate
  • Experience working on a maternity or neonatal ward
  • Training in assessing prenatal attachment
  • Training in trauma therapy (EMDR, SE)
  • Experience running support groups for mums
