We are looking for a child psychiatrist to diagnose and treat mental disorders in children and adolescents.

About the position

We are looking for a child psychiatrist to run consultations with children and adolescents. At our centre, the child psychiatrist works closely with child psychologists, creating comprehensive support for young patients and their families.

Salary

from 180 PLN per consultation

Gdańsk (Piekarnicza, Wajdeloty, Bergiela) / Gdynia (10 Lutego)

Responsibilities

  • Running psychiatric consultations with children and adolescents
  • Diagnosing developmental-age mental disorders (ADHD, ASD, depression, anxiety)
  • Planning and monitoring pharmacological treatment
  • Working with patients' parents and carers
  • Consulting with the team of child psychologists
  • Issuing medical certificates and opinions
  • Keeping medical records

Requirements

  • A specialist qualification in child and adolescent psychiatry, or resident (min. 3rd year)
  • A licence to practise medicine in Poland
  • Experience diagnosing and treating disorders in children
  • Ability to build rapport with children and their families
  • Patience, empathy and high ethical standards

Nice to have

  • Experience with ADHD and autism spectrum assessment
  • Training in child and adolescent psychotherapy
  • Experience working with children after trauma
  • Familiarity with diagnostic tools (DIVA, Conners, ADOS)
  • Knowledge of English
