About the position

We are looking for a family mediator to conduct mediation in family matters – divorce, custody, property and inheritance. At our centre, mediation is a natural complement to couples and family therapy.

Salary

from 150 PLN per mediation session

Gdańsk (Piekarnicza, Wajdeloty, Bergiela) / Gdynia (10 Lutego)

Responsibilities

  • Conducting family and divorce mediation
  • Helping separating couples reach agreement (maintenance, care of the children)
  • Mediation in property and inheritance matters
  • Drawing up mediation reports and settlement agreements
  • Working with law firms and courts
  • Working with couples and family therapists

Requirements

  • Completed mediator training (at least 40 hours) meeting the requirements of the Ministry of Justice
  • Entry on the list of court mediators or permanent mediators at a regional court
  • Experience conducting family mediation
  • Neutrality, objectivity and conflict management skills

Nice to have

  • A degree in law or psychology
  • Mediator certification from the Polish Mediation Centre or the Family Mediators Association (SMR)
  • Experience working with children (hearing the child in mediation)
  • Training in cross-border mediation
  • Knowledge of English
