What Is Mindfulness?
Mindfulness is the practice of consciously focusing attention on the present moment – without judgment. It is not a relaxation technique, although it often brings relaxation. It is a way of being with yourself and your experiences.
Simple Daily Exercises
Mindful breathing – 5 minutes of focusing on the breath. Body scan – systematically paying attention to tensions in the body. Mindful eating – consciously savoring a meal. Walking in awareness – concentrating on steps, sounds, and surroundings.
